Director, Financial Services INTERNATIONAL RISK Ltd Back to Contacts       Allen Liao is a Director in the financial services practice of FTI-International Risk, based in Shanghai. He is responsible for the delivery of fraud, corporate, financial and regulatory compliance investigations and related risk mitigation services. Prior to joining FTI-International Risk, Allen was the CFO and leading Managing Consultant, Compliance Services, Greater China for a UK based risk consultancy firm. He was mainly responsible for assessing the risks for multinationals doing business in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong as well as planning and execution of investigative work. Allen has conducted numerous fraud investigations, FCPA reviews, asset tracing, M&A due diligence and compliance investigations. He has undertaken assignments in a wide variety of industry segments, including financial services, insurance, construction, oil & gas, logistics, air transportation, retail and manufacture sectors. Allen holds a BA and post graduate degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Hawaii. He speaks native English and is fluent several Chinese dialects including Mandarin, Cantonese, Shanghainese and Chaozhou dialects. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner.
