Christopher is a senior
advisor to International Risk in the areas of terrorism,
government relations and political risk analysis with
a particular focus on Middle East and China affairs.
Following a distinguished 29 year military career in
the British Army; which included service in Northern
Ireland where he was awarded the General Officer Commanding’s
Certificate for Gallant Conduct, command of the 4th
Armoured Brigade in the Gulf War in Saudi Arabia, Iraq
and Kuwait for which he was made a Companion of the
Bath and appointment as the Deputy Commander and Chief
of Staff of British Forces in Hong Kong, Christopher
took up the position of Executive Director of the British
Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong which he has held for
the last 10 years. Under Christopher’s leadership
the Chamber has grown and become an influential and
respected organization in the business community both
in Hong Kong and globally.
Christopher brings to International Risk a wealth of
experience in working with multinationals and leading
companies in developing their commercial interests in
regional markets, particularly China. Advising on political
and commercial risk Christopher is a frequent commentator
and leading authority on a wide range of subjects including
terrorism, business continuity as well as Middle East
and China affairs, and government relations.
