Daniel Tay is a Computer Forensic & Investigative Manager with FTI-International Risk, based in Singapore. He provides information technology forensic solutions and professional delivery of our electronic evidence recovery services, cyber-crime investigations and other IT forensic solutions. He also provides comprehensive investigative research and analytical support for the broad spectrum of business intelligence, investigative, consulting and risk assessment services offered through our South East Asia regional headquarters in Singapore.

Prior to joining FTI-International Risk in 2007, Daniel was a Special Investigator with the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) of Singapore. The CPIB is Singapore’s elite anti-corruption agency, the head of which reports directly to the Prime Minister. Daniel joined the CPIB in 1999. He gained wide experience in conducting investigations both into corruption and computer-related crimes, and was one of the pioneer members of the CPIB Computer Forensics Unit.

Daniel has completed an Advanced Computer Forensics Course by EnCase. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Information Technology from Newcastle University, Australia. He is fluent in English and Chinese (both Putonghua and Hokkien dialects).
