Kazuya Aoki is a Computer Forensic and Investigative Manager with International Risk, based in Tokyo.
Kazuya provides information technology forensic solutions and is responsible for the management and professional delivery of our electronic evidence recovery services, cyber-crime investigations and other forensic solutions. He further provides investigative support for major financial, fraud and other corporate investigations in Japan.
Prior to joining International Risk, Kazuya worked for a major Japanese security company as a security engineer managing a Computer Security Incident Response Team using digital forensic technologies.
Prior to this appointment Kazuya spent fifteen years in the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department (TMPD) where he was a specialist in the Cyber Crime Division. During this period Kazuya was also seconded to the New York Police Department. Throughout his law enforcement career Kazuya was actively involved in the successful resolution of a number of high profile and sensitive crimes.
Kazuya has a Bachelor degree in Commerce from Waseda University.
He is native Japanese and is fluent in English.
