Ken Shimaya is a Manager with International Risk and currently based in Tokyo. He has been involved in a wide range of investigative and risk consulting projects, coordinating research and investigative teams in addition to having a key role in numerous business intelligence, fraud and corporate investigations. Ken coordinates projects for international clients covering a variety of services including crisis containment, litigation support and complex cross-regional brand protection assignments.
Prior to joining International Risk, Ken worked as a manager for an international education and publishing group, responsible for training, development and marketing activities for over 5 years. He was also in charge of coordinating a quality assurance programme for a team of over thirty staff.
Ken holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Queensland University of Technology and a Postgraduate degree in International Business from Deakin University, both in Australia.
Ken is a native Australian and is fluent in Japanese.
