Director, FTI Consulting (Asia) Limited Back to Contacts       Mavis is a Director of Financial Services, FTI Consulting (Asia) Limited, based in Hong Kong. Mavis has during the last eight years specialised in the corporate recovery, forensic accounting and litigation support fields in Hong Kong. Prior to that, she was engaged in corporate finance deal origination and lead advisory work in the UK. Mavis has particular expertise on the preparation of expert accountant reports in civil and criminal proceedings in the courts of Hong Kong, company valuations and fraud related investigations. Her experience includes investigating listing frauds on the instructions of the Hong Kong Independent Commission Against Corruption, investigating employee fraud for multinational clients involving their PRC, Hong Kong and South East Asian operations, advising clients in the resolution of shareholders’ disputes, quantification of loss of profits in arbitration and litigation proceedings, valuation of companies in diverse industries, providing expert opinion on various accounting issues and conducting independent financial reviews for clients with operations across Asia. Mavis also has extensive experience of insolvency and restructuring administrations involving companies in Hong Kong, the PRC and offshore entities. Mavis qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the UK, is an ICAEW Accredited Forensic Practitioner and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“HKICPA”). She has on numerous occasions been invited to speak at insolvency and forensic accounting seminars organised by the HKICPA and Chinese University of Hong Kong.
