Senior Advisor, Japan Back to Contacts       Mr. Niimura is a Senior Advisor to International Risk Ltd and is assisting our business development and expansion plans in Japan. Mr. Niimura previously served as a Senior Executive Officer and also an Executive Advisor for one of the world’s largest advertising agency groups, Dentsu Inc. His career with Dentsu spans a total of 42 years, including 13 years serving in management level positions in Los Angeles, New York and London. During his tenure he was elected as one of eight global Board Directors for a three-way joint venture between Dentsu, Young and Rubicam and Havas, called HDM Worldwide. Dentsu later asked him to run the cdp Europe network, a European acquisition made by Dentsu in 1990. Further to this, from 2000 Mr. Niimura headed the entire Americas and Europe operations for Dentsu from New York until the company asked him to return to Tokyo in the spring of 2002 to become a Senior Executive Officer and Managing Director of Dentsu’s International Headquarters. In his last two years with Dentsu, Mr. Niimura served as an Executive Advisor to Dentsu and also the Chairman and Representative Director of Beacon Communications K.K., a Publicis and Dentsu joint venture advertising agency. Mr. Niimura has extensive experience in the international communications industry in addition to the operational knowhow gained from having run major corporations throughout the Americas and Europe.
