Russell Worth is a Vice President with International Risk Ltd. He is based in Hong Kong and is responsible for undertaking a wide range of investigative, business intelligence and risk consulting assignments.
Since joining International Risk in 2002, Russell has managed a significant number of investigative due diligence and business intelligence assignments on behalf of corporate clients’ considering entering into financial transactions or joint venture partnerships. He has also undertaken a number of discreet corporate investigations into alleged wrong-doing by corporate management and has advised clients on other risk-related issues. More recently, Russell has undertaken regulatory compliance work on behalf of clients and has been working on projects involving the acquisition of distressed assets.
Russell gained his early investigative experience as a result of serving with the London Metropolitan Police Force between 1988 and 1998. During his police service, Russell acquired wide experience in operational police work and criminal legal practices, serving on crime squads targeting robbery, burglary and drugs. This background has given Russell unique skills in deploying minimal resources in order to target criminals using effective intelligence. Russell has also developed specialised skills in interviewing and the handling of informants and victims of crime.
Subsequent to leaving the police service Russell worked for the Hong Kong International Airport Security Company between 1999 and 2002. Russell gained experience in using the latest technology to deter and prevent existing threats after the 911 terrorist attacks.
