Head of Construction Solutions, Asia Back to Contacts       Mr. Huyghe is the Head of Construction Solutions in Asia, based in Hong Kong, and part of the Forensic and Litigation Consulting segment at FTI Consulting Inc. Mr. Huyghe has extensive experience in general contracting, construction management, and dispute resolution and he is a recognized leader in assisting owners, contractors, designers, and counsel with projects in litigation or distress. As a General Contractor, Mr. Huyghe spent 23 years constructing many industrial facilities such as oil refineries, uranium recovery facilities, chemical plants, multiple wastewater and water treatment facilities, and hi-rise construction projects. His time was spent on site dealing with all construction issues, specifically labor related issues. Mr. Huyghe has been actively involved with the analysis, litigation and testimony and/or the management of major construction projects including EPC contracts dealing with oil, power, petrochemical, water & wastewater, gas processing, tunneling, and high-rise construction for over 44 years. He has developed specific Project Advisory Services (PAS) and helped Owners in the pre-development stages through the course of construction, mitigating delays and disruptions, and managing project costs. These PAS services have been implemented on both domestic and international endeavors. In regards to claims, litigation, and testimony, Mr. Huyghe is internationally known for his ability to establish and then demonstrate the impact of delay, disruption, lost productivity, changes in the work, and damages. He has testified solely on disruption, labor productivity, and construction means and methods. Mr. Huyghe often lectures and conducts training programs for contractors, municipalities, and owners on a variety of construction management topics such as claims mitigation. He has spoken at numerous seminars and conferences and is an established author of various construction related publications. Prior to joining FTI, Mr. Huyghe was a Managing Director in the Atlanta office of Navigant Consulting, Inc. Prior to joining Navigant, he was the Chief Executive Officer of A.W.
