Mr. Tamura is a Senior Advisor
to International Risk Ltd and is assisting our business
development and expansion plans in Japan. Mr. Tamura’s
specialization is in Japanese life and non-life insurance
industries.
Mr. Tamura spent 28 years between 1960 and 1988 with Mitsui
Mutual Life Insurance. His appointments included the Director
of New York office, Corporate Secretariat, Corporate Insurance
Sales Department (assigned to set up a new Foreign Company
Division), New Contract Assessment Department and Corporate
Planning Department.
Mr. Tamura joined Equitable Life Insurance (currently
known as Credit Suisse Life Insurance) in April 1988.
At Equitable, he was responsible for personnel management,
general affairs, and business planning. Between 1992 and
1998, he was employed by AXA Life Insurance to establish
its branch in Japan.
Since 1998, Mr. Tamura has been providing consulting assistance
to insurance sectors of PricewaterhouseCoopers Financial
Advisory Services (PwC-FAS) & ChuoAoyama Audit Corporation
as a Senior Advisor.
