INTERNATIONAL RISK Ltd
YK Chan is a Senior Manager with International Risk Ltd. based in Hong Kong and is responsible for undertaking a broad range of investigative, business intelligence and risk consulting assignments, primarily in the Greater China region.
YK has 28 years investigative experience gained both through police service and with a regional investigations and security firm. He has undertaken numerous business fraud investigations, asset search assignments, investigative due diligence projects and other integrity-related investigations; has wide experience in the management of intellectual property infringement investigations and brand protection consulting, and has undertaken physical security audits and provided executive protection services.
YK served for 12 years with the Royal Hong Kong Police, mainly in criminal investigations and, immediately prior to his move to the private sector, he was a Detective Senior Inspector in the Counterfeit & Forgery Division of the Commercial Crime Bureau. He subsequently received specialist US training in physical protection, surveillance and counter-surveillance techniques.
Educated in the UK, YK has a Masters degree in Business Administration. In addition to English and Cantonese, he speaks Putonghua.
